Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, was in Lyon on 23 March 2016 to attend the inaugural meeting of the United Nations High-Level Commission on Health Employment and Economic Growth, co-chaired by Mr. François Hollande, President of France and Mr. Jacob Zuma, President of South Africa.
The Secretary-General delivered opening remarks and closing remarks and served as co-Vice-Chair, alongside Dr. Margaret Chan, Director-General of the World Health Organisation (WHO), and Mr. Guy Ryder, Director-General of the International Labour Organization (ILO).
